Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Breaking the Spine where book bloggers feature an upcoming release we are eagerly anticipating.

Title: A Thousand Pieces of You

Author: Claudia Gray

Release Date: November 4, 2014

Synopsis: Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their radical scientific achievements. Their most astonishing invention: the Firebird, which allows users to jump into parallel universes, some vastly altered from our own. But when Marguerite’s father is murdered, the killer—her parent’s handsome and enigmatic assistant Paul—escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.
Marguerite can’t let the man who destroyed her family go free, and she races after Paul through different universes, where their lives entangle in increasingly familiar ways. With each encounter she begins to question Paul’s guilt—and her own heart. Soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is more sinister than she ever could have imagined.

When I found this book and was SO excited to run out and buy it right away, and then I noticed the release date. I was heartbroken. I cannot wait for it to finally be released so I can get my hands on it!

  1. I had this as my "Waiting On" last week! This looks so amazing; they're comparing it to Cloud Atlas, which is trippy but brilliant.

    Here's my WOW this week:

    1. I've never seen/read Cloud Atlas but I really want to. I'm super excited for this book! I'm kind of bummed it is coming out in November because that is when my semesters start getting super busy, but I will find a way to make time!

  2. I just found out about this book yesterday when the cover was one a few people's Top Ten Tuesday lists. It sounds AMAZING and the cover is gorgeous. I'm definitely looking forward to it. Great pick!

    1. Doesn't it though? I read a review of it on a blog and got so excited, only to find out they had received and ARC and the book didn't release for another few months. Devastating. Truly devastating.

  3. Yay for more dystopian! I cant wait for it to finally come out.

Nemo @ blame it on the book

  4. This one is on my wishlist!! I can't wait for it. :)

Thanks for stopping by Part of that World!

  5. I've been debating whether or not to download this from Edelweiss. But coming back from BEA has me hesitant because of the books I should be reading. Great pick though. I hope you end up loving it when you finally read it.
Thanks for stopping by my post!

  6. Hahahaha, that's the saddest thing I think I've ever heard! I'm dying to read this and got it off Edelweiss, but just want to drop everything else and read it now. It seriously sounds amazing. Great pick!
